BIO
I believe in the pursuit of a complete work of art and that collaboration is the driving force behind creation and innovation.
As an artist, I strive to create engaging and immersive experiences. I love playing with genre. While each project is unique, my approach to creation remains inspired by classical art and the various movements of the early 20th century (especially expressionism), which I smash together with pop art and subcultural influences to create pieces that are as challenging as they are entertaining to examine complex contemporary issues.
Central to my work is the interplay between drama and technology, which I view as mediums for communication, connection and understanding. I believe that through the intentional design of both drama and technology are tools that we can better understand ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
The passion I bring to my work has taken me across Canada to work on new play development and theatre festivals. As a motivated professional, I’m constantly striving to improve my techniques, expand my skillset and find new opportunities to grow. Each of my projects - both solo and collaborative - have provided this growth and allowed me to establish myself within this competitive industry.
Please enjoy my portfolio, and feel free to get in touch with any questions.
